Malaika Arora Demands Rs.10 Cr?

As we all know, Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan, who were married for 18 long years, have already begun their divorce proceedings. The latest news that has reached our ears is that Malaika has demanded minimum Rs. 10-15 crore from Arbaaz as divorce settlement. Spotboye quoted a source saying, “That’s quite an amount no doubt, but Rs. 10 crore minimum is what Malaika wants. And she will not settle for anything lesser.” The report further mentioned that Arbaaz has agreed to pay the amount over a period of time.

Their son Arhaan might continue to stay with Malaika after the divorce, which is likely to come about in May 2017. “But that would again depend on a lot of things, which includes how quickly Arbaaz and Malaika come to a common point as far as terms and conditions of financial settement are concerned,” adds the source.

The couple attended their first mandatory counselling session in December this year at the Bandra family court. Their court visit came as a shocker because although grapevine was abuzz with their split rumours, it was believed that the couple was working on their relationship. Both Malaika and Arbaaz were spotted together on several occasions, trying to iron out their differences. “But nothing worked. All those meetings went down only as table talk,” the source reveals. Arbaaz’s elder brother, Salman Khan, too tried to convince Malaika not to annul the marriage but apparently she was adamant on separation.

It was in March when the couple announced of their separation in a join statement. But at that time, there was no mention of divorce, instead it was stated that they were on a break “The truth is, we have taken a break, but that doesn’t mean people can presume, assume and speculate things of such malicious nature. We are taking out time to figure out our lives… Yes, it’s true that we are separated, but where our lives go and what transpires between us, it is for us to decide. Wherever it goes from here, we will talk about it when we are ready to.” But, alas things have changed now and the couple is heading for a divorce.

Mumbai: Series of fake rape and molestation cases lands model in soup

A Haryana-based model has come under the scanner for filing a series of fake rape and molestation cases across the country. Besides political leaders and government officials, she had also levelled charges against cops.

BJP leader conned

BJP youth leader Chirag Gupta, the woman’s latest victim, said she had been trying to extort Rs 5 crore from him. In her complaint against Gupta, filed in April this year, the woman said she had met the BJP leader through a matrimony site and Gupta had promised to marry her.

The woman said she later found out he was married and filed a rape case against him. Gupta, however, says he met the woman through a social networking website after she said she and her mother, Ishwar, were also BJP workers.

“Gupta’s wife filed a complaint against her at our police station. When I called her for investigations, she reported it to the DCP alleging I had sexually harassed and threatened her. An enquiry was set up against me. But, when I assured the DCP that I hadn’t met her, the enquiry was dropped,” said API Shivaji Bade, from Kurla PS.

Multiple fake cases

An RTI has revealed that the woman had also filed similar cases against various government officials across the country. She accused a Haryana forest officer, Vilas Fogat, of rape. She also filed a rape case against Vidyanand Dahiya, inspector of Hisar Civil Line police station, as he was the investigation a case against her.

The woman said nobody had any proof against her. “Law is made to help women and I am doing what the law says,” she said.

At the box office too, these films are being pitched against each other. Salman Khan’s film had collected Rs 300.45 crore in its lifetime run. But will Dangal be able to beat Sultan? Surprisingly, the couple did not choose to have a traditional wedding since they both come from a different religious background. To make it simple, they opted for a court marriage. Adding more to the surprise, the couple’s friend performed on few of the popular Bollywood tracks on the wedding day.

“Our friends had organized a surprise dance party today and we enjoyed their performance a lot. All the performances were great, they made me cry, laugh and made me fall in love with them again. When my mom performed, I cried a lot. On the other hand, Suyyash cried when his mom performed on the stage. It was a fun-loving moment which couldn’t have been possible without our friends and family members support,” Kishwer Merchant said to Dailybhaskar.com.

Elated Suyyash Rai added, “Finally one of my dreams has come true; Kishwer has become Suyyash’s dulhaniya. Today, all our friends have entertained us a lot; we are in love with them more now. It’s a beautiful feeling and we are living every moment attached to our wedding.”

Suyyash Rai baarat became a visual treat for every eye present at the wedding. He chose to come in a vintage car instead of typical ghodi. Actors including Karan Wahi, Rithvik Dhanjani and Surbhi Jyoti were seen dancing among the baaratis.

At the wedding reception, Kishwer Merchant looked beautiful stunning in her pearl-beaded gown. On the other hand, Suyyash Rai looked dashing in his three-piece suit and a rugged look. The couple was spotted dancing at their own wedding with all their friends and family members.
